Enjoy your Bible Scholarship,however your comment "God doesn't owe you anything"(darkens Gods Word?)recently and your cosmology speculations of what was before the big bang and how"chance" has "no power "I found not inspired by any scripture-and an argument contrived-because statistical study(which involves recording various values over time which might have qualities of chance variation) IS in the Bible in the form of historical observation and descriptions of patternswhich make up a great part of the inspired"allowed" gathered"wisdom"throughout Gods Word as revealed to many generations and carefully collected and cherished. The absolute sovereignty(Sovereignty is the exclusive right to have complete control-God asks Job difficult questions concerning what Job can and cannot do. In Chapter 38, verse31, God asks "Can you tie the Pleiades to- ...) the sovereignty of God the Father,God the Son,God the Holy Spirit Holy Ghost as in Pentecost and in each moment given to us-what we are allowed -is mysterious-if it is not Gods Word the Bible-it may be information but not necessarily Truth as Gods Sovereign Word, but even of Gods Truth-we may not be allowed to know all of these mysteries(indeed "The Fall"was in part"We want it all-and now-and of our own intentional quest-and in our own time,we don't want to wait on Gods revelations to us")?-Science doesn't know what the smallest particle is or what happened before the big bang or if there even was such-not definitely-and neither do Christians know the mysteries beyond what is allowed in Scripture or unless that given divine inspiration as Moses,Jesus and others were spoken to directly by God the Father? But what"IS" definitely known about the scientists and the Christians " so called "creation argument"?the "one including them as a particular observer " IS"that neither of them-a particular scientist or a particular Christian ( or us) living here today in 2008 on the earth would be here at all ,or ever would have been here had Jesus not lived-why?-Because so influential was (and is) He in actual history-that is,of who married whom-and who immigrated to where-for what reason-even to facts of the secular scientists or Christians ancestral marriages affecting lineal descent from an ancestor,events affecting the same based on the life and teachings of Jesus, even remotely,that even the timing of their births were affected by Jesus-thus the person of their birth WAS CREATED from other possible combinations of genetics. Had events been never affected by the influence of Jesus on many generations,the argument would not exist because the persons arguing would not exist. Even the very fact that our ancestors worried about God and made decisions because of their beliefs led in actual HISTORICAL fact to this selection of folks or living souls here today-these particular scientists or particular Christians- in a creation argument,irony indeed. It is not the selection of species, but "THE SELECTION OF EACH INDIVIDUAL,EACH ONE OF US"capable of such arguments and concerns and scientific investigations and beliefs,versus those individuals that would have been born in some other history not affected by Jesus part in our history,present and future(The young scientist could say to his father"Ive found that Jesus had nothing to do with the creation of me or the world I live in"to which his father might answer"Tell that to the Priest that married your mom and me." -LUKE 12:7 NIV 7 Indeed,the very hairs of your head are all numbered.
